We are Medical Cannabis advocates first and foremost.
In 2002 my father, a longtime grower was arrested for conspiracy to cultivate Cannabis. He was sentenced to 3 years in federal prison and was released in October of 2007. He instilled in me the fundamentals of work, compassion, and creativeness. Though my father is no longer with us he would be amazed to see the progress of the industry as a whole.
After moving to California in 2007 and becoming a caregiver for several patients, it became apparent we needed to get organized. After consulting with quite a few medical marijuana attorneys we discovered there were a lot of opportunities for collectives. So we began the process of incorporating and the further we got into the nuances, the more unclear we became. We organized our first collective in late 2007. After organizing several collectives for friends and collogues, referrals started to roll in. Soon after came the website and were now a full time company with over 325 collectives under our belt. Rest assured, I have been in your shoes.
Every day in California thousands of ordinary and extraordinary people use cannabis to improve the quality of their life. After seeing first hand the healing effects of cannabis, I truly believe it is a crime to keep this medicine from people.
